Lady in Green

Acrylic on Canvas | 16x20 | $350.00. This original work explores the intersection of Caribbean American identity, Black womanhood, and the natural world. Drawing a direct parallel between the island's fertile earth and the woman's role as a life-giver, the composition captures how we tend to our roots even when transplanted across oceans. It celebrates her innate power to take the raw nutrients of her surroundings — tradition, endurance, and love — and turn them into thriving, breathtaking flowers.
