Love To Love You Baby

Vinyl Record Clock | $80.00. Released in 1975 by Casablanca Records. The Famous voice behind this album, Donna Summer, originally started her vocal career as a musical theatre performer in Germany. She sang with power and strength. Giorgio Moroder produced the music for "Love to Love You Baby," and Donna created a character, imitating Marilyn Monroe's soft and intimate sound. It made her an international star. The success came with an image she struggled with. The industry promoted her as a sex symbol, while the sensual voice was just a performance that felt that the image was too narrow for who she was as an artist. This clock depicts a time when a woman's talents could make her famous, but the industry would sell her sexuality to make her profitable. Donna Summer created a voice that changed disco, while the image sold to the public overshadowed who she truly was. A powerful singer and songwriter.
